snow queen

snow queen from Hans Christian Andersen's tale.

She also seems to be the origin or inspiration for white witch in the chronicles of Narnia
And before disney's frozen turned into what it is now, it was supposed to be the snow queen story. 
made me thought it would have been interesting if Elsa was actually related to the snow queen in old tales or maybe she can be the descendant of Kai and Gerda. 
and maybe there was a remaining curse from the snow queen on Kai  which could have caused the mystery power that Elsa's born with?

for me...i would like to believe Kai and Gerda had a happy family together and none of them were royalties... so I would like to think they can be Kai and Gerda's grand daughters. 

so, here's a bit of little story made up in my head...
maybe.. Kai and Gerda had a son and he grew up to be a brave adventurous man. and he hears this kingdom is suffering with evil trolls ( the same ones that shatters the mirror in the original story)  and the king is promising to any lad who kills/gets rid of the trolls, they can ask his daughter's hand in marriage. (this can be anna and elsa's mother)
so he goes off an adventure to find those trolls and captures their leader/king. but the troll king begs for his life and he takes pity on the troll. So instead of killing him, he sends him off to a far away island, and brings the troll's hair and clothes soaked in blood to the king to show the troll is gone.

the remaining trolls get scared and swore their loyalty to Kai's son if he lets them live. So he makes them promise that they won't cause troubles in the kingdom anymore and tells them to move to a forest area where it's far from the kingdom's reach.
and these can be the trolls that elsa's parents go to ask for help.

 so, he ends up marrying the princess and becomes the next king of that kingdom, and gets 2 daughters.
and when they end up dead on the trip, instead of being a random accident due to wild weather or so.. I'd like it to be planned and caused by the old troll king that was sent off to an island long time ago. He wanted his revenge and thought he would go back to the kingdom to rule his trolls again once Kai's son is dead.
